State your views on Hospital Cuts, Saturday 30th September

Residents will be givern the oportunity to write down your concerns about the future of health care in the town. All these messages will be delivered by the Save the Alex group to the Strategic Health Authority who are to decide in the coming months what services will be at the Alexandra Hospital.

Both events are supported by the Save the Alex Group which will be providing information about the current cuts and also the protest march organised for the 5th October.

Venue 1 - Redditch

  • Time: 9:30am until 3:30pm
  • Date: Saturday 30th October
  • Where: Outside St Stephens Church

In Redditch, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, outside St Stephen's Church, there will be 'Light a Candle - Share your Concerns'. The lighting of candles is a symbol of people expressing their concerns for others or for themselves. There will also be an opportunity for people to write down those concerns which will be delivered personally to the Strategic Health Authority, or any other Committee appointed by the Secretary of State for Health, which will decide in the coming months what services will be at the Alexandra Hospital in the future.

Venue 2 - Bromsgrove

  • Time: Midday until 3pm
  • Date: Saturday 30th October
  • Where: Chapel at the Princess of Wales Commuity Hospital

In Bromsgrove from 12 noon to 3.00pm, in the chapel at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove people will have a similar opportunity to write down their concerns.
